1. 1-subject notebook- This notebook will be used for bell-work, quizzes and test reviews. It is very important to have this notebook every day during class time.

C = 70 – 81%
D = 60 – 69%
F = < 60%
There will be two types of assessments throughout the school year. Summative (tests) and formative (quizzes, homework, labs, presentations etc.) Each type of assessment will be averaged and will consist of 50% of the final grade.
Tests will be multiple-choice and short answer type questions. During test day students will have approximately 40 minutes to complete the assessment.
Homework
Homework will be assigned throughout the semester. Worksheets, group assignments and in-class grades will all be computed as homework grades.
Quiz
There will be short quizzes given during the first five-ten minutes of most class periods. This quiz will consist of questions that were covered the previous day. Key points to consider when reviewing for the quiz include vocabulary words and key points covered during the chapter sections. This type of assessment will help students prepare for their summative assessments (tests).

Getting make-up work after being absent
